We sincerely hope that you, your colleagues and families are in good health and doing their bits to see through this pandemic.

In these lines we have accelerated all our web migration related development. Eventually this will make access to the software which is very easy for your users and ready platform to deliver powerful features much faster. Our goal in all this is to ensure minimum disruption to your business through the coming changes, and it is true that things will change quickly once the standstill goes away.

Here is an important notification about the requirement of few software components, before upgrading Ginesys to version 11.152.0. below mentioned components have to be present in the Ginesys application server for functioning of Ginesys. These components have to be downloaded and installed/updated manually before running the Ginesys HO Updater utility. The Ginesys HO Updater utility will check for this pre-requisites before allowing you to update to the version 11.152.0.

IIS 8.5 - You need to ensure that your Ginesys application server has IIS 8.5 installed. Generally, if you are using Windows Server 2012 R2 operating system or above, IIS 8.5 is pre-installed in it. If you are running any OS lesser than Windows Server 2012 R2, you have to upgrade your operating system. You can consult with your IT team for upgrading operating system. Ginesys strongly recommend to keep your operating system as latest as possible to get advanced security features.

ASP.NET Core 3.1 (x64) hosting bundle - The new ASP.NET Core 3.1 technology stack by Microsoft offers a host of benefits and moving to the new stack will allow Ginesys to stay updated with the latest technologies and bring great features for the users. Starting with 11.152.0, Ginesys will be having server side applications running on both .NET Framework 4.6.2 as well as .NET Core 3.1. You can download and install the same through the links given below.
