Assign Salespersons in WebPOS

Assigning salespersons helps you track sales performance and incentivise the sales team. You can assign different salespersons to individual products or assign one salesperson to multiple products during billing.


You need to create Users with the Salesperson role assigned to them in Zwing Console, before you can assign them to products while billing in WebPOS.

Assign Salespersons to individual products

You can assign different salespersons to individual products in cart during billing.

  1. Tap on a product’s name in cart to open the Product details popup.

  2. Tap on the Assigned Salesperson dropdown to view available salespersons.

If a salesperson has been created on Zwing Console but does not appear in the list, tap on the Refresh button to get all salespersons currently active for the store.

  1. Search and select the required Salesperson to assign it to the product.

  2. Tap on Update Product or simply close the popup to view the assigned salesperson in the cart.

  1. If the policy for Salesperson tagging is set to Mandatory after adding product, the Salesperson dropdown will open automatically whenever a product is added to cart. If a Salesperson is not selected, the product will not be saved to cart.

Assign Salesperson to multiple or all products

You can also assign a Salesperson to multiple or all products in cart during billing.

  1. From the cart page, tap on the Salesperson button in the options panel on the top-right.

  1. In the Assign Salesperson section, tap on the Salesperson that you wish to assign.

  2. Selection checkboxes will become visible next to the product names in cart, simply select the products to assign the highlighted Salesperson.

  1. To assign highlighted Salesperson to all products in cart, tap on the Assign to All button. Additionally, you can use the Clear button to uncheck all products assigned to the Salesperson.

  2. Close the Assign Salesperson section using the X icon to resume billing.


Remove Salesperson from a single product

To remove a tagged salesperson from a product in cart:

  1. Tap on a product’s name in cart to open the Product details popup.

  2. Tap on the X icon next to the Assigned Salesperson’s name to remove them from the product.

  3. Tap on Update Product or simply close the popup to resume billing.


Remove Salesperson from a multiple or all products

To remove an assigned Salesperson from multiple products in cart:

  1. From the cart page, tap on the Salesperson button in the options panel on the top-right.

  1. In the Assign Salesperson section, tap on the Salesperson that you wish to remove.

  2. Selection checkboxes will become visible next to the product names in cart, simply deselect the products to remove the assigned Salesperson.

  1. Use the Clear button to uncheck all products assigned to the Salesperson at once.

  2. Close the Assign Salesperson section using the X icon to resume billing.
