Exchange Billing

The Exchange feature allows you to record exchange transactions against a previous Sale Invoice; For the time when a customer seeks replacement for previous purchases, based on your retail policy.

Continue reading to learn how you can create an Exchange Invoice on Zwing webPOS.


Switch to Exchange Mode

On the billing page, change the mode from Billing to Exchange using the option on top.

Once you switch to Exchange mode, the + Add Exchange Items from Invoice option will be visible in the cart section. Tap on it to continue.

Select Products to Exchange from Invoice

You can search for an invoice using its transaction number, or use the customer's phone or name to list respective invoices to choose from.

Select the required invoice and then pick the products to exchange, along with the quantity and reason for exchange. Once done, tap Continue.

Add Replacement Products for Exchange

The exchange products will be listed in the cart, with + Add Product for Exchange button underneath them. Use the X icon to remove any product that is not needed.

To add a replacement product, first tap + Add Product for Exchange button underneath an exchange product.

You can now add the respective replacement product using Scan, Search or Catalog. Once added, the new product will be visible just below the exchange product separated by a To be exchanged with label.

You can only add replacement products having a unit price greater than or equal to unit price of original exchange product, and the same unit of measurement (UOM).

The Cancel adding product for exchange button can be used if you decide to add replacement for another exchange product instead.

Generate Exchange Invoice

Repeat the process till you have added the required replacement quantity that matches that of the exchange products.

Once done, tap on Checkout to collect any due payment and generate the exchange invoice.

  1. If there is no payment to be collected, a confirmation popup will appear. Tap Continue to generate the exchange invoice.

Share Exchange Invoice

Congratulations, you have successfully generated an exchange invoice on Zwing webPOS. You can now print the invoice if you have a printer connected (or integrated), or share it to the customer via email or SMS.

To continue billing, tap New Bill.
