Redeem Store Credit in WebPOS
In Zwing WebPOS, you can provide Store Credit to customers either ad-hoc or as an alternative refund method for Returns. It exists in the form of a special voucher called a Store Credit Note that can be used or redeemed by the customer in future purchases during Checkout as a Mode of Payment.
Redeem Credit Note using Voucher Code
To redeem Store Credit Note using the voucher code issued to the customer:
Tap on the Redeem Store Credit option in the list of payment methods (Mode of Payments or MoP) on the left-hand side of the Checkout page.
In the Store Credit popup, tap on the Redeem with dropdown and select the Credit Voucher option.
Enter the Store Credit Note Voucher Code in the input box to the right.
Tap on Apply Voucher to send a verification OTP to the customer.
Enter the One Time Password (OTP) received on the tagged customer’s phone number, You can use the Resend OTP option in case the OTP is not received by the customer.
Tap on Apply Voucher again to complete redemption.
If the entered OTP is correct, the Store Credit Note will be applied, and become visible in the Payments summary panel on the bottom-centre of the Checkout page. Repeat the process with another voucher code to redeem more.
If the redemption value of Store Credit Note is greater than the total bill value, you will be automatically redirected to the Payment Success page.
Redeem Credit Note using customer’s Phone Number
To select & redeem multiple Store Credit Notes issued to the tagged customer:
Tap on the Redeem Store Credit option in the list of payment methods (Mode of Payments or MoP) on the left-hand side of the Checkout page.
In the Store Credit popup, tap on the Redeem with dropdown and select the Phone Number option.
Verify if the correct customer phone number is shown to the right and tap on the Continue button.
Enter the One Time Password (OTP) received on the tagged customer’s phone number. You can use the Resend OTP option in case the OTP is not received by the customer.
Tap on the Verify button.
If the entered OTP is correct, a list of available Store Credit Notes issued to the tagged customer will be displayed.
Select the required Credit Notes that the customer wishes to redeem.
Tap on the Continue button to complete redemption.
Applied Store Credit can be seen in the Payments summary section at the bottom of the Checkout page.
If the total redemption value of applied Store Credit Notes is greater than the total bill value, you will be automatically redirected to the Payment Success page.
