Hold and Recall Bill in WebPOS
Zwing WebPOS allows you to temporarily store and retrieve ongoing billing sessions: saving both cart products and customer information to be retrieved later, giving you operational flexibility.
Hold current Bill
To save the cart products and customer information of the ongoing bill:
From the cart page, tap on the Hold Bill button in the options panel on the top-right.
Tap on the Hold Bill button in the popup to confirm the action.
View Held Bills
To view previously held bills, tap on the View Held Bills button in the options panel on the top-right of the Cart page. The number mentioned here shows you the number of held bills available for recall.
The Held Bills pages shows you the list of previously saved bills, that you can either Recall or Discard. Tap on the Return to Bill button to go back to Cart.
Recall Held Bill
To recall a previously held bill, follow these steps:
From the Held Bills page, tap on the Recall Bill button next to the bill that you wish to recall.
Tap on the Recall Bill button in the popup to confirm the action.
Please note that recalling a Held Bill will clear all products currently in your Cart. We recommend you Hold the current bill first and then Recall a previous one to avoid losing any information.
In case you wish to go back and Hold the current bill, simply tap Cancel on the confirmation popup.
Discard Held Bill
To remove a previously held bill, follow these steps:
From the Held Bills page, tap on the Discard Bill button next to the bill that you wish to remove.
Tap on the Discard Bill button in the popup to confirm the action.
