CAUSE

One of the probable causes of this issue is the existence of outdated or corrupted third party dependency files.

Important information

Note: The issue has been observed to occur due to corruption of the Ionic.zip.dll whereby the size of this file was getting reduced from 404 KB. However, this issue may occur due to corruption in other files as well. So it is recommended that if you find this type of issue, please follow the steps mentioned in this article first.

RESOLUTION

  1. One of the probable solutions for the issue is to go to the third tab, Update Dependency Files

  2. Check the Download All Files checkbox

  3. Click on Start Download button to download all updated third party dependency files.

  4. Let the files be completely download and then attempt to Update the software again.
