Feature Video:

Module(s):

POS - POS as Delivery Slip
POS - POS as Collection Centre

Enhancement Summary:

Handling customer rush at the delivery point is often a pain, due to mixed up or lost deliveries. Tagging customers will ensure correct billing and timely and accurate deliveries.

  • A Customer button & a Search Customer shortcut button, has been added in the Delivery Slip.
  • System is allowed to tag both existing or newly created customer to delivery slip.
  • Customer tagged bills can now be tracked in the Collection Centre.
  • A policy has been added in Retail Management - Setup - Master Policy > Delivery Slip & POS Bill - Customer selection is mandatory at Delivery Slip.
    If 'Yes' is selected as the policy value, then delivery slips cannot be created without customer tagging.
    If 'No' is selected, then delivery slips may or may not be created with customer tagging.

Scenario:

Suppose Customer A has 10 delivery slips, delivery slips from various points floor-wise / salesman wise. Now as he comes to the cashier, the following issues/problem may be faced -
  1. Cashier is not aware of how many delivery slips are there to scan or bill
  2. If he finds 8 delivery slips he will prepare bill of 8 (on basis of delivery remarks, because he is not aware how many delivery slips are there to bill).
  3. Cashier may scan delivery slip of any other customer due to manual mistake or billing rush.

The above scenarios are handled by this feature.
