| 1 | "Unique GST Document No." concept introduced for Point of Sale bills and Goods Return from StoreModule: Ginesys POS - Normal POS Enhancement Summary: As per GST law, for all outgoing documents, i.e., outward supply, you need to maintain maximum 16 characters document number and that number should be unique GSTIN wise. So we have introduced a new concept for generating unique GST document numbers irrespective of whatever you choose as document numbering scheme. Sync with HO is required for transactions to work, else, system won't allow to do transactions post '1st July, 2017'. HO needs to be managed using document numbering scheme We have introduced this feature for POS as it works in a decentralized environment. For Head Office working, you need to abide by the rule using document numbering scheme process only. Critical Feature This is a critical feature, please ensure to update till this before doing any GST transactions at POS. |
