GIN-I-1047 Now multiple promotions can be allocated to multiple sites at once

GINESYS Web – Retail Management – Promotion – Allocate

Enhancement Summary:

On the eve of any festival or EOSS, assignments of similar sets of promotions are required for multiple sites at a time. GINESYS Promotion now allows the same to minimize time and effort on the part of our users.

In the left hand side Promotion block, check boxes have been provided for selection of multiple promotions for allocations. Similarly, in the right hand side Site block check boxes have been provided for selection of multiple sites.

IMPORTANT

Note:

  • Allocate action button will display the single view, i.e. Promotion-wise view.
  • Advance Allocate option has been added in the action panel to provide the Site-wise and Promotion-wise view.
  • Same privilege will be applicable on both Allocate and Advance Allocate action.
  • Assignment of timeframe is restricted at the record level.
  • All assignment is done through Assign Timeframe block.
  • After assignment, selection will get cleared.
  • Functionality has remained unchanged for -

'Auto-Approve on Allocation', 'Allocate', 'Allocate & Close', 'Close' function buttons.

Enhancement Summary:

Sometimes promotions may need to be extended for many reasons, so GINESYS now allows you to extend the timeframe for promotions. A new action has been added for 'Extend timeframe' in the Action button list below Edit Time Frame.

Option has been provided to extend timeframe of already allocated promotions by a certain number of days or till a specific date. Timeframe for multiple promotions can be extended through this enhancement.

IMPORTANT

Note:

  • Expired promotions are not displayed in the selection list for timeframe extension.
  • Date specified must always be a future date.
  • Same privilege will be applicable on both Edit Timeframe and Extend Timeframe action.
  • If extended date is less than date from of selected allocations, then the new date will not be updated.
