The buyer must buy the services or goods on offer for the seller to post profit. The GINESYS Customer master form has been provided for creating and maintaining a record of the various customers. Existence of the master form allows the customers to be referred in transaction documents and allow them to be extinct when they are not needed any more. Major UI changes have also been made in our quest to make Customer master more user-friendly -

2 | 24303 | GIN-I-874 | 24303 Assignment of Organization Sites to customers in the Sales and Distribution module can now be done in GINESYS Web.Module: GINESYS Web – Sales & Distribution – Setup – Customers – Assign-Organization Site Enhancement Summary: Assign Organization Site menu is provided to allow the customer to purchase and sale in the selected organization sites as decided by the GINESYS user. This tagging signifies that sales for this customer can be done from allocated organization sites only. Tagging of organization sites can be made at customer sites level also. For example: an organization site can sell goods to a site X of a customer C, but he cannot sell to site Y of the same customer. Multiple Organization sites can be allocated to each customer. Multiple customer sites can also be tagged with a single organization site. If no organization site is tagged to a customer then he has the freedom to transact with all organization sites of the company. The assignment of the organization site which was earlier done through the Customer master will now be done through a new menu. 3 | 25621 | GIN-I-874 | 25621 Unmanaged Site has now been provided new menu in the GINESYS WebModule: GINESYS Web – Sales & Distribution – Setup – Customers – Un-managed Site Enhancement Summary: The customer site creation which was earlier done through the Customer master will now be done through this module. All three kinds of Un-managed sites (i.e. customer owned outright mode, customer owned outright mode with secondary stock tracking and customer owned consignment mode) have been catered through this new menu. Both Add and Edit operations can be performed on the Unmanaged Site menu. No deletion of site is allowed once created, however, they may be made extinct. The UI has been enhanced to include:

The rule required for maintaining this stable profit against an item or against a supplier is known as the Margin Rule. GINESYS allows you to define these rules and apply those rules on items to maintain a enduring profit. There comes the implication of site wise – vendor wise, margin rule allocation. New form has been provided for view and managing allocated margin rule to site. User can edit the assigned margin rule for the allocated site and if required, the rule can be deleted, depending upon login user app-operation.
