Module(s): Ginesys Web - Inventory - WMS - Stock Reservation Partial reservation summary: Previously, the system restricted the user from making any reservation if the entire order's stock was not available in the system. But now, Ginesys has provided an option while doing stock reservation, i.e., user can now select "Reserve Partially" which will reserve the available stock against the order. Suppose a Sales or Transfer Order is for 100 quantity of an item, but there is stock for only 60 quantity of the same - now partial stock reservation allows reserving that stock for the above mentioned order. Bin Group wise Reservation summary: Similar to Bin Name filter while doing reservation, Ginesys has now introduced Bin Group filter which will allow the user to reserve an order against specific bins only under a group. Module(s): Inventory - WMS - Setup - Bin Master Enhancement Summary: Bins created in warehouse management system of Ginesys can now be assigned specific assortments and quantity. Due to incorrect management of warehouse systems, often bins are either overloaded or their capacity is underutilized. Sometimes it also affects the productivity of the packing and delivery cycles as picking of deliverables take a lot of time. Ginesys, with this update, allows to define assortments tagged to bins. This feature ensures that warehouse users can easily identify products in each bin by placing correct products in each bin and bin space is also used optimally. This also helps in understanding the free capacity of the warehouse. Also, two new user profiles have been added to allow overriding the incorrect item and quantity assignment to the bins -

Module: Ginesys WMS (Android Application) Enhancement Summary: A new hand-held device based android app for Warehouse Management System has been launched by Ginesys. This allows the users more mobility leading to faster and more efficient and productive warehouse management. Pickers can now directly scan items on lists assigned to them, instead of manually collecting items from the bin and bringing them to a static machine to confirm the pick list action. The application can only be used through a separate hand-held device and can do the following actions:
The android menu has to be assigned to the user's role before it can be used (Admin - Security - Role - Inventory - WMS - Android Application). The configuration of the device needs to be done at the time of installation and then the device can be used to scan a bin, scan items to and from the bin and confirm pick lists of items to be delivered.
