1287 Vendor list has been modified in Goods Receive Challan (Adhoc)

Module:

Ginesys Web – Procurement – Operations - Goods Receive Challan

Enhancement Summary:

Earlier all classes of transactional entries were displayed in the Vendor list in GRC.

After this new update, users will find that the list of Vendors has been slightly modified to make it more user-friendly.

1. The Vendor list will only show those entities whose class is defined as Vendor/Supplier or those entities who belong to any other class but have Purchase Terms defined for them.
2. For each connected site the Vendor List would show the above defined entities who have been assigned to that connected site or those that have not been assigned to any particular site.
   Suppose - Vendor V1 has been assigned to Site 1 and Vendor V2 is not assigned to any site; if Site 1 is the connected site, the vendor list would show, both V1 and V2. But if another site, Site 2 is connected; then only V2 will show in the vendor list as it is not explicitly assigned to any site.

1287 Vendor modification is now allowed in Goods Receive Challan (Adhoc)

Enhancement Summary:

Earlier Vendor selected for a particular Goods Receive document could not be edited in the web version. But, for certain business cases, it has been found that the vendor selection needs to be modified.

After this update, the users will also be allowed to modify the vendors selected in the GRC (web), provided the following rules are obeyed.

1. No logistics document has been tagged to the GRC to be modified,
2. If further reference documents have not been created for the GRC; like Purchase Invoice or Return, in case of Organization site and if the GRC has been authorized in case of Managed sites.

On modification of the selected vendor, the impact areas of such modification are as follows.

1. The new vendor’s statistics will be populated in the Vendor Information panel hidden in the right hand side.
2. The values in the following fields of the GRC will change:
   
   
   1. Trade Group,
   2. Term Name,
   3. GRC Type,
   4. Stock Point,
   5. Agent,
   6. Currency,
   7. Logistics applicability
      
      
3. Item rate for all selected items will be repopulated as per Vendor Master settings.

Note: All operations of the GRC Adhoc are role and user policy driven and can be executed only by those with proper privileges.

1668 Article Master can now be imported as part of the Utilities of the Admin Module

Enhancement Summary:

After this update the user will be able to import the Article master through the Data Import feature in Admin – Utilities in the web.
