250 Miscellaneous Entry has now been transferred to Ginesys Web as part of the Operations of the Inventory Module

Module:

Ginesys Web – Inventory – Operations – Miscellaneous Entry

Enhancement Summary:

The Miscellaneous Entry module has undergone some major functional changes. The UI has also been made web compatible leading to a complete change in look and feel of the module.

The functional changes are:

  • Change Site feature has been removed, as Owner Site can now be selected from the form itself.

  • Items from multiple Requisition Entries can now be selected for Miscellaneous Issues (partial or in full).

  • Both adhoc items and items against requisition can be selected in the same Miscellaneous Issues. However, in Miscellaneous Receive only adhoc items can be selected.

  • Same item is now allowed for selection in both Issue and Receive tab.

  • Item Rate is now displayed and edited in both Issue and Receive tab. Rate population logic is dependent on the Last-in Rate.

  • User Defined Fields (UDF) are available for Miscellaneous Entries.

  • Document Attachment function is available in Miscellaneous Entries. Users can attach any reference documents to the Miscellaneous Entries. Document Attachment cannot be done for  authorized Miscellaneous Entries.

  • The Negative Stock check alert is activated when the stock in hand is less than the Issue Quantity. If the Receive Quantity of a Miscellaneous Entry is modified or deleted or Issue Quantity is increased, the Negative Stock check alert will also be activated in case of insufficient stock.

Note: Negative stock check for issue item will be done after adjusting the receiving quantity.

  • Clear Form feature is now available in the Web but only for Add mode.

The UI changes are:

  1. The entire list of Miscellaneous Entries allowed to a user can be seen from the list view itself.
  2. The information captured during Miscellaneous Entries creation and modification has been segmented to provide more clarity and mandatory fields are marked with asterisk.
  3. The Document Summary is available in the right panel.
  4. Change Document Site button has been removed and field for Owner Site selection is provided. This will display sites as per allocation in User master.
  5. Import Barcode is a separate feature accessible from the form itself and not from Select Item.
